Chelsea had fresh talks with the agent of 21-year-old midfielder

Chelsea have reportedly held ‘fresh talks’ with the agents of Aurelien Tchouameni, as the West London giants consider a move for the AS Monaco midfielder before the end of the transfer window.

The 20-times English champions have been credited with an interest in the 21-year-old, who has found back of the net four times and provided four assists in 50 games for his current side in all competitions.

However, Italian journalist Fabrizio Romano recently claimed that the Red Devils were not planning to move for the Frenchman this month. According to transfer insider Simon Phillips, the Blues have been in talks with the youngster’s representatives to discuss a possible move to Stamford Bridge.

Phillips claims that Thomas Tuchel’s side need to make ‘some big decisions’ before the end of the transfer window, with the capital giants thought to be planning more signings.

Tchouameni still has three years left before his deal expires at Stade Louis II, placing AS Monaco in a good position when it comes to any potential talks with the European Cup holders.

Chelsea also eyeing a move for another Ligue 1 star Eduard Camavinga who has been tipped with a departure from the club.
