Thomas Tuchel given green light to complete £34m transfer that can unlock Paul Pogba at Chelsea

Thomas Tuchel looks to have found the key that will unlock Paul Pogba following the 28-year-old's latest transfer admission.

According to The Telegraph, the Manchester United midfielder, who sees his current deal at Old Trafford expires at the end of the season, is willing to consider proposals from Premier League clubs as he plots the next step of his career.

In 2015, Pogba rejected a £62m move to Stamford Bridge despite Juventus agreeing to sell him to the then-league champions, according to Gazetta Dello Sport (via Daily Mail) .

The France international has struggled to enjoy sustained form with United since returning in 2016 so, should the west Londoners look to reignite their interest, Tuchel could catalyse Pogba's career by signing Chelsea's latest striker target.

The Red Devils' record-breaking signing is famed for his unique skill set as a midfielder, armed with a mouth-watering range of passing.

Pogba's infamous assist for Marcus Rashford in United's behind closed door clash with Spurs, as forecasted by Jose Mourinho via All or Nothing: Tottenham Hotspur, epitomises just what the Frenchman is capable of.

And, coincidentally, Chelsea has struggled to find them eye of a needle balls in behind, making Pogba the perfect wildcard signing that could unlock new avenues of attack.

Singing the same hymn sheet, former Chelsea player-manager Glenn Hoddle has given Roman Abramovich the green light to complete the signing of RB Salzburg wonderkid Karim Adeyemi, crowning the 20-year-old striker as the solution to Chelsea's reluctancy to play passes in behind.

According to the Metro, the 20-year striker, who the Blues are monitoring, has enjoyed a fruitful season with RB Salzburg, scoring 18 goals in 29 appearances across all competitions, including three in the Champions League.

Tuchel's side would face intense competition from a host of Europe's leading clubs for the German international's signature and currently valued at £34m by the Swiss outfit, as per Goal .

Speaking to BT Sport following RB Salzburg's round of 16 Champions League clash with Bayern Munich, Hoddle endorsed Chelsea's interest in Adeyemi, alluding to the potential success he could enjoy alongside Pogba's trademark passing range.

"He was the star," he said. "It was energetic, but energetic with a little bit of thought behind things. I like the fact that he has looked up twice, and he's trying to get the ball on the money.

"He is always looking to go in behind with the ball or without. He has that stop-start ability, he favours his left, but he has got a right as well. "Give him half a yard, and he will turn you. All round, he looks a fabulous player at 20-years of age."
