This week might finally see a bit of movement from Chelsea in the transfer market in terms of players being targeted at least.
It looks pretty clear now that Manchester City forward Raheem Sterling is a player who can be considered as a major target for the club this summer.
Every reliable source has now been reporting Sterling to Chelsea this summer, and it doesn’t even seem like there are any other clubs in the mix to sign him either, giving Thomas Tuchel’s side a clear run.
Fabrizio Romano has the latest on the situation, and it appears that this week is going to be crucial in this one, with Chelsea preparing to make a new offer.
It’s also been made easier now due to Gabriel Jesus’ deal to join Arsenal being concluded bar medicals and signing paperwork.
City will now focus on the Sterling to Chelsea deal, which is now set to heat up. Gabriel Jesus will fly to England this week in order to undergo medicals and sign the contract valid until June 2027 as new Arsenal player.
