Chelsea have ‘agreement in principle’ to sign player ‘for €70m’

Chelsea reportedly already have a full agreement in place to sign a new player. The January transfer window has not even opened yet, and we are nowhere near the summer, but Chelsea have gotten to work already, according to reports.

The Blues have an agreement in principle in place to sign RB Leipzig forward Christopher Nkunku for €70m in the summer, having already completed a medical for him in the summer just gone. It appears that his new injury will not be taking any affect in this deal, and all is left now is for the official announcement to happen.

A couple of sources have now confirmed the above, including Manuel Veth’s report below. Source confirms an earlier report by @JacobsBen that #Chelsea have an agreement in principle in place to sign Christopher Nkunku for €70m from #RBLeipzig .

As he says, Nkunku will move to Chelsea in the summer and not in January, and the fee has been agreed now as well. The terms with Nkunku have never expected to be a problem and it seems he wants to join.
